| After graduating
from the Birmingham School of Architecture with a BA (Hons)
in 1990, Andreas continued his studies at the world-renown
Bartlett School of Architecture at the University of London
where he was awarded his Diploma in Architecture.
His professional affiliations include full membership
of the UK's A.R.B. and R.I.B.A. (Chartered Architect)
as well as being a member of ETEK (Cyprus), the Cyprus
Architects Association, and the Cyprus Architects &
Engineers Association.
In both 1998 and 2000 Andreas represented Cyprus in
the 6th & 7th Mies Van Der Rohe European Awards
of Architecture in Barcelona, and has been nominated
for the President of the Republic of Cyprus National
Award for Architecture.
Other prizes and awards his designs have won include:-
Design of State High School in Nicosia, "Dead Sea
Competition" for design of hotel, Marble Arch competition,
Cyprus Electricity Authority Headquarters, Cyprus University
Halls of Residence, Cyprus Olympic Committee Headquarters,
Cyprus National Archive Building, Cyprus Teacher's Association
Headquarters, and a Sports Centre in Limassol.
In addition, Andreas has also contributed to many seminars
and professional publications, including "Quality
Assurance" (London, 1993), "The effects of
cities in our everyday life" and "Renovation
of Group-2 Listed Buildings" (London 1995), "Space
Architecture" (London, 1996), Building Design,
World Architecture, and Cyprus Property & Home.
